Lyn Evans is a specialty women's boutique providing unique clothing & accessories options for women of all ages. For over 35 years, our team of dedicated stylists has been in the business of dressing women "for all your lifestyles."
Based out of Wellesley, MA, Lyn Evans currently has eight stores in separate locations across Massachusetts & Connecticut. We consider it our mission to not only serve our customers but to also serve the communities in which we reside. Lyn and her busy staff give back to the community through a combination of fundraisers, fashion shows, and other charity events throughout the year. In 2012, Lyn Evans was honored in receiving the Retailers Association of Massachusetts (RAM) Award of Excellence for commitment to Community Service.

Lyn Evans Shotkus - founder & president
Lyn's retail career began as a buyer for Strawbridge & Clothier, an upscale department store based out of Philadelphia, PA. The executive training program gave her the foundation, confidence, and expertise to open her first retail specialty store in Newton, MA in 1978. Thirty-five years later, Lyn has expanded to now own and operate 8 unique store locations in MA & CT! Lyn and her buying staff make sure to interpret today's most exciting fashion trends in NY & LA for the discriminating taste of our clientele.
Lyn Evans is well respected by her peers in the women's apparel industry and the communities she serves. Lyn has been honored to be a part of many community organizations, and serves on a number of Boards, including the Board of Trustees at Moravian College (her alma mater). She has made it a priority to get involved in the communities her stores serve; "Doing well by doing good" is one of the core values of the Lyn Evans company, and most recently has been reinforced with the awarding of the RAM Awards of Excellence in Community Service.
Nicole Ethier - buyer
Nicole graduated from Wayne State College in Wayne, NE with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion & Merchandising. Upon graduation, Nicole was recruited by the TJX Companies in Framingham, MA. She entered their Corporate Merchandising Training Program where she was then placed into a planning analyst position in their HomeGoods division.
As the buyer for Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs, Nicole spearheads the fashion direction in order to execute the vision of the company while constantly searching for new, exciting brands and products to introduce to our customers. From trips to New York and visits to major buying shows across the US, Nicole analyzes each season's trends and interprets them in a way that the Lyn Evans customer can relate and understand.
Nicole and Lyn combine their distinct styles as the buying team in order to bring the best mix of clothing, jewelry, handbags, and accessories to our customers.
